Farid is Founder and CEO of ERLY STAGE STUDIOS an Education Venture Studio focused delivering next generation learning solutions and ‘making learning fun’ for the consumer and corporate markets alike (www.erlystagestudios.com). The Studios have recently came runners up in the best Middle East startup category at the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (Dubai government’s venture capital arm) entrepreneur day competition.
Farid is also a partner at Connected Labs a content company working across media to deliver brand stories through craft storytelling. Connected Labs is backed by award winning Connected Pictures (www.connectedpictures.com).
Farid is also the Managing Director of Haque & Company. A boutique venture advisory practice focused on supporting start-ups and SMEs through their most difficult challenges around funding and works extensively with Founders and CEOs of Start-ups to help get their business ‘investment ready’. Haque & Company also works with Family Offices, Angels, UHNWs, VCs, Corporate, University and Sovereign Venturers helping them find the right investment opportunities in the early stage and growth space.

A Chemical Engineer by education, Farid is a seasoned management consultant (having begun his career at Andersen Consulting in Canada) and strategist with over 10 years of experience across a broad range of sectors ranging from Financial Services, FMCG, Retail , Pharmaceuticals and Public sector (Health and government). He has lived and worked in a range of mature and emerging economies (some of which he argues have ’emerged’).
Farid was asked to join the Provocation Group in 2012, an advisory board to the Global Chairman of the British Council.
Having served as the first Council Manager for the Prime Minister’s Council on Social Action Farid is passionate about the social investment sector and is a member of the Social Angels network in the UK.
Farid also served on the Junior advisory board for the UK India Business Council (the trade body between the UK and India) and is a mentor to a number of small businesses and start-ups.
